We are The Artisan, a student-run newspaper at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. We focus on a wide range of topics and content, allowing our staff to publish their work and share news or commentary on local, national, or even global events and topics of all varieties.

We began as a student magazine originally called The Improviser, as a part of the science department. Now we are run by the creative writing department and sponsored by Mrs. Flores.
